Commenting on information released by the Conservatives*, Dr Richard Vautrey, Deputy Chairman of the BMA's GPs committee aforesaid:
"These figures clearly illustrate why the BMA is so interested about the government's plans to introduce polyclinics and GP-led health centres, and in exceptional the central one-size fits-all approach and unrealistic timescale.
"It appears that Primary Care Trusts have been forced to site novel surgeries where they have available buildings rather than where they are needful. It would be much better value for money to adorn in the existing practices so that they can buoy further improve the quality and range of services they provide. The government's approach has the potency to cave many practices, leaving them little alternative but to reduce their staff or services which will not be in the interests of patients."

David Archuleta signs with 19 Recordings
'American Idol' runner-up has begun writing songs
NEW YORK -- Much like his "American Idol" cohort, Season 7 winner David Cook, runner-up David Archuleta has signed with 19 Recordings/Jive. If history reveals anything, fans can expect an album from the 17-year-old pop singer in the fall or winter, after his stint with the American Idols Live tour concludes.
It's possible that the Utah native might be penning some songs for the effort himself. In a recent interview, Archuleta said he has "started to write some songs. I thought that was really fun to do. ... I'd like to get into that more. I think this experience on 'American Idol,' trying to figure out what songs work best with your voice and trying to arrange them, has really helped and I'd like to see if I can write some more stuff, because I've only written like three songs all the way."
Three songs sung by Archuleta have already impacted the Hot 100 chart. His versions of "Imagine," "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" and "In This Moment" bowed at No. 36, No. 58 and No. 60 last week, though they slid off of this week's tally.
The Idols tour kicks off July 1 and runs through Sept. 13, featuring this season's other top 10 finalists like Cook, Brook White, Sayesha Mercado and Jason Castro.

Still by typical joseph Black metallic element standards, since their origination in 1992 Poland's Graveland have managed to pee away an inordinately large identification number of citizenry because of their too right wing (read: Nazi-sympathizing) government. Primarily the crop of vocalist/guitarist Darken (aka Robert Fudali), Graveland number ace gave voice to their infidel misanthropy (and other stupidities named higher up) via a turn of demos leading up to 1994's Carpathian Wolves record record album. With bassist Karcharoth and drummer Capricorn tributary to the band's quite sloppy, lo-fi approach (akin to primitive Bathory), subsequent efforts like 1996's The Celtic Winter, 1998's Following the Part of Blood, and 2001's Prawo Stali (completely released by the No Colors label) were met with understandable boycotts by the mainstream media. Throw in the occasional visit to the mental institution to insure with his "issues," and you hardly have the ingredients for a successful sprightliness history, or yet a fair appreciation of Graveland's medicine.
